If you found an older reference to a standard or Prodigy kit, this is the current place to start. Having one ordering page does not mean that every component fits every pistol, so review the fitment notes before placing your order.

What can you choose?

The product page includes options for hammers, sears, a disconnector, mainsprings, sear springs, hammer struts, hammer strut pins, and optional Red Dirt triggers.

Available choices vary by component. Review your selections before adding the kit to your cart rather than relying on an older list of kit contents. The product page provides current pricing and available options.

Important information for Springfield Prodigy owners

The Prodigy has specific component requirements. Read the Prodigy fitment notes on the product page before ordering, and contact EGW if you need help confirming compatibility.

Are the optional triggers universal?

No. The optional Red Dirt triggers offered on this kit page are designed for the Springfield Prodigy and Alfa Foxtrot Romulus. They will not fit standard 1911s or other 2011-style platforms.

If you’re unsure whether a component fits, contact EGW with your pistol’s make and exact model. Include the barrel length and mention any aftermarket parts already installed. This helps us understand your setup without asking you to repeat information.

Questions about fitting, spring tuning, or changes to trigger performance should be reviewed with EGW technical support or a competent gunsmith.

Is the kit a drop-in replacement?

This kit is not guaranteed to drop in without fitting. It should be installed or checked by a competent gunsmith. The product page includes additional fitment notes and overview videos to review before purchasing.
