Choose between the standard full-length rail and the shorter Takedown rail, then select the appropriate MOA.
Quick fitment: EGW Ruger 10/22 rails use a 2.57-inch center spread. For a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, we recommend the dedicated Takedown rail because it is shorter and does not have the standard rail’s front overhang.
1. Choose the rail style
Standard Ruger 10/22 rail
The standard full-length rail is the normal choice for traditional Ruger 10/22 rifles. Standard rails are available in 0, 20, 30 and 40 MOA.
Ruger 10/22 Takedown rail
For a Ruger 10/22 Takedown, use the dedicated Takedown rail. It is shorter than the standard rail, does not have a front overhang and is better suited to the Takedown configuration.
The dedicated Takedown rail can also be installed on a standard Ruger 10/22 when a shorter, lower-profile rail is preferred.

4. Choose the MOA
- 0 MOA: The normal choice for plinking, hunting and most shooting from 0 to 100 yards.
- 20 MOA: Recommended for most rimfire shooting from approximately 150 to 200 yards.
- 30 or 40 MOA: Specialized options for shooting beyond 200 yards. Confirm that the scope has enough internal elevation adjustment for the intended zero.
The dedicated Ruger 10/22 Takedown rail is normally supplied in 0 MOA.
5. Installation information
- Center spread: 2.57 inches
- Mounting screws: #6-48 x 1/4 inch
- Recommended torque: 20 inch-pounds
- Threadlocker: Use a small drop of blue threadlocker
